I haven't had an experience with Go Baby Go Shop ....yet. Happy birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst found GoBabyGo after searching for Rock N Green detergent on the internet. My son was 6 months old and I was still fairly new to CDing so I was researching all the ins and outs when I found Liz's shop. After calling Liz I visited her at her home, which was then her shop, and was introduced to a variety of different types of cloth diapers. Been a customer ever since! Happy Birthday, GoBabyGo Shop!

In April 2011, I finally decided to try CDing my 14 month old DD while 7 months pregnant with DS. I talked to online friends, but I hadn't seen anything up close, and I still had LOTS of questions. I did a lot of Google searches and found Go, Baby, Go. Liz was great with all my endless questions, which did get repetitive (pregnant brain). She helped me get set up with my starter stash in time to have some practice before the Great Cloth Diaper Change. Almost b18 months later and I'm still CDing... just in Dallas now!
ReplyDeleteWhen pregnant with ny first, I was researching cloth diapers and found GBG on FB. It was during the fall season and a giveaway was taking place - submit a picture of your prego belly. I remember submitting my prego OU belly picture and winning 2nd place; later on sweet Gina recognized me when visiting the store. Both Liz and Gina have been extremely helpful during my cloth diapering journey, as well as, introducing me to a community of natural parenting. So thankful for all their hardwork and dedication!

ReplyDeleteMy 1st experience w/GBG was the Cloth Diapering 101 class before my son as born. Liz was super informative & helped us select the best CD options for us. We picked up our stash when the baby was born this past July. It is also awesome that Liz & Gina are available for diaper troubleshooting, such a life saver. A+++ on their customer service! Thx & happy birthday! :)

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday GBG! I was referred to your shop on SANP when I decided to give cloth diapering another try. I don't get to make it to the shop often since it's far, but when I do it's like visiting WF. I just want to buy everything! I love your shop and all you do for us mommies :)

ReplyDeleteMy first experience with Go Baby Go was in January of 2012...I had just finished up all of the disposable diapers given from showers and really wanted to try cloth. I started researching and was incredibly thankful to find Go Baby Go and that it was in the area!!! I immediately emailed Liz and she got back to me extremely fast, explaining about the various types and what might be a good fit for me and my baby! I went into the store to show Liz what I had already purchased and to see what we could work with!! Liz you were and still are incredibly helpful on my journey to cloth diapering! We ended up choosing bummis with sweet pea prefolds and are extremely happy!
ReplyDeleteI first went to go baby go to look for cloth diapers. Then I attended cloth diapers 101 class. I have been a customer ever since. I think you are doing a great service for our fair city!

ReplyDeleteGBG has a great first owner and now another one! Congrats on the success and I wish you many more birthdays!
ReplyDeleteThe Go Baby Go shop is responsible for my addiction to fluff. I was able to participate in The Great Clothe Diaper Change last year with the loaners and found out just how easy it was to cloth diaper. I just wish I had more money to buy more.
ReplyDeleteI first went to GBG back this summer. I was trying to get advice on trying to convinence my husband to cloth diaper. I spent a some time there quizing Liz. As i was leaving, low and behold my husband was arriving to ask questions about cloth diapering too. He even knew Liz from her prior employment. It was such a great experiance. I think this visit is what finally go my husband to consider CD. My baby hasn't arrived yet, but I'm getting ready, with GBG help.
ReplyDeleteMy first experience at go baby go was great! liz was so helpful and very nice, but she always is when i visit. I ended up going there because i won a raffle prize from the great cloth diaper change! :) bought a wet bag while i was there!
ReplyDeleteMy first experience with GBG was early in 2010. I needed a few cloth diapering supplies quickly and I was referred to Diane/GBG by a friend. Dianne met with me at a Starbucks near my house and brought everything I needed and sat with me and answered lots of questions. Such a great experience!
ReplyDeleteI've browsed your online shop while compiling my must-haves list for cloth diapering. I'm excited to start purchasing CDing things for our next baby!
ReplyDeleteI attended a cloth diaper class with Diane at the Birth Center in 2009...seems like forever ago! And my love for cloth diapers and GBG just kept growing from there. :)

ReplyDeleteMy first visit to Go Baby Go was during a diaper swap event back in August. I'm a ftm and was 6 mo at the time. A member of the staff spent some time giving me an overview of cloth diapering options and I was able to get valuable input from several of the moms at their sale tables. It was a huge learning experience and I can't wait to visit again.
ReplyDeleteMy first experience with GBG was over 3.5 years ago! When I was pregnant with my 3rd baby, and getting information about cloth diapers and baby wearing. It has come a LOOOOONG way since! Great job! We LOVE GBG!

ReplyDeleteI found you when you through the mini Rockin Green bundle in April which I won. I've enjoyed your cloth diaper tips of the day ever since. I'm in north Texas, but hope to stop by on one of my trips south. I'm originally from Eagle Pass so I drive by San Antonio a couple of times a year.
ReplyDeleteOy! That was supposed to be the mini Rockin Green bundle giveaway you ran in April.
DeleteI decided to CD when I was pregnant but was discouraged by friends and family who still had the old mindset of CDing. I had done research online of different brands and was so overwhelmed, plus I really don't like buying things like this online without knowing the product first. A new mommy friend in my yoga class heard my concern and told me about the Go Baby Go shop. I had no idea there was even such a store. Needless to say I was there the next day. The diapers that I thought I wanted going into the store turned out to not be what I liked (or worked) at all. Gina was amazing helping me sort through it all and picking the diapers that worked for me and baby. I'm addicted and I tell everyone I can about cloth diapers and Go Baby Go!!! Love you guys!!! Little by little I'm building up my diaper stash.
ReplyDeleteThat was probably Liz, GBG’s owner, or Kim, our resident babywearing and cloth diapering expert! I am mostly behind the scenes doing online media stuff. I am so glad to hear you are happy with our shop and customer service! That’s the reason we do what we do! :-)
